If you want to know the hash codes for the characters in a specific interaction, you can load up the interaction in an older build and check the character manifests within the program itself. But what if you don't have the old build handy, or you just don't want to go through that whole process? There must be a simpler way!
You can get the character manifest information from the interactions file itself! First you need to open the interaction file like an archive.
I use 7-zip, which is free.
once open, right click the only file in the archive and click View
In this file, you will see a lot of encoded gobbledygook, but don't worry, what we're looking for is towards the very top.
Separated by @ characters, we see each of the hash codes.
Then a bit further down, we see the character names.
The hash codes and the character names ought to appear in the same order
so in this case, the character hashes are:
In the case that viewing the file orders the text differently, dont worry, most of it is still in an order. Use CTRL+F to find the character names, the first search result starting from top to down is usually the order of characters.
This method may be complicated, but much easier than having to spin up an older build of FurryVNE and load up the entire interaction just to get a few hash codes
